At InnoSIGN we are looking for a Software / Data Engineer (fulltime) who is excited to contribute to the growth of the company and to support the introduction of the OncoSIGNal technology to the market.

Job Description:

You will contribute to the development, improvement and maintenance of InnoSIGN’s web-based computational software and user interface for generation of the pathway activity profiles, the development and expansion of an easy to use database to correlate the pathway profiles with additional data, and support the analysis of clinical studies. Furthermore you will help improving our data processing pipelines. In addition, you will be expected to assist in the technical validation and release procedures of the software components of our products.

Moreover, you have the ability to deal with high pressure and uncertainties and can respond quickly to shifting priorities. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve our cloud-based user portal.
• Maintain and improve our processing pipelines used for analysis and quality control of qPCR and RNAseq data.
• Develop and maintain our database with pathway activity profiles and clinical data.
• Manage large amounts of heterogeneous data (management and processing via scripting).
• Perform data analysis on existing and new datasets, document findings and prepare data to a presentable format.
• Develop tools for easy visualization of data.
• Review of product/quality documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master in computer science, informatics, or similar.
• 1-3 year experience, preferably in a start-up environment.
• Experience with programming languages: minimally Python and Typescript.
• Knowledge of cloud-native, full stack development with AWS experience.
• Knowledge of front-end Javascript frameworks such as React.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Affinity with clinical and biological data analysis and databases. (preferred)
• Affinity with product development and quality processes. (preferred)
• Strong communicative skills, team player but also being able to work independently.
• Able to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances with a positive attitude.
